Hawthorne II Homeowners’ Association Meeting Minutes 
November 10, 2021 

Board Member Attendance

Meet at Cherilyn’s House (6:30) 118 Hawthorne Lake Drive 

Capital Improvements 

Bridge project is complete – any, no outstanding items or bills 

Fountains were working at end of season and now removed & stored; Mark will follow-up on any off-season maintenance to consider 

Landscaping (lake, berm, entrances) 

Fall decorations will need to be removed 

Jeremy will put up Christmas decorations – Mark will confirm whether we have decorations for all four entrances 

End of year clean- up and maintenance 

Tree / bush replacement – nothing planned until 2022 

Maintenance 

Geese Deterrent 

David’s recommendation for GoDaddy website hosting agreement update/replacement – Board approved 3-0 for David to initiate converting our website hosting from GoDaddy to a2hosting.com 

Plan a neighborhood Work Day (Fall or Spring?) – will be considered for spring with details/date TBD 

Snow removal – Mark will follow-up with Shari Marshall that took over Ryan Yoder Lawncare to see if they’ll be able to continue the snow removal around the lake in addition to what they will continue doing for the condos. 

Annual Meeting 

Set for 11/17/2021 at 6:30. Meeting will be held via Zoom, access instructions sent to members on postcards 

Agenda is drafted and on www.Hawthorne2.com 

Mark has created the annual Treasurer’s Report and will be shared as an attachment in the meeting.

Pay Hawthorne II Annual Dues 2025

Dues are due by March 31st, with a 10% late fee.  Statements were mailed out the weekend of March 3rd.  

Mail or drop off your payment to H2HA Treasurer, 2 Raspberry Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704

Or, use PayPal.  You can now pay your Hawthorne II Homeowners Association Dues online. The Annual Dues are $375.00 plus a $10.00 convenience fee to cover a portion of the online payment processing cost charged to the H2HA (shown as "shipping" on the receipt). US funds only.cYou may log into PayPal if you have an account to pay your dues using your PayPal payment options. However, If you do not have a PayPal account, choose the Guest option with a choice of credit card payments. 

Note: Don't want to create a PayPal account in the process? Just uncheck the option before paying to "Save info & create your PayPal account."

Email confirmation will be sent to you via PayPal; please retain this as proof of paid H2HA dues. 
Any submission after March 31st deadline will be $412.50 plus $10 convenience fee = $422.50
