Hawthorne II Homeowners’ Association Meeting Minutes 
February 10, 2021 

Board Member Attendance 

Don Read, Mark Clauss, Tim Moore, Don Sutto, Jeff CC Biggs 

Capital Improvements (per annual meeting) that need to be planned 

LED lights on fountains – Don S will send cost estimates to upgrade remaining two lights 

Plan and initiate upgrades needed from the Dam Assessment – Don S will get estimate from Joe Bierbaum on repairing the lake inlets 

Landscaping (lake, berm, entrances) 

Including Recommendations from JJacobs 

Replacing trees with bushes (nicely landscaped areas) 

Carryover 

Tiling within commons area – no imminent need for additional tiling 

Tree maintenance program 

Geese Deterrents – discussed allowing Jeremy to apply Flight Control + to the grass areas around the sidewalk. Will get additional answers from Jeremy, but planning to begin applications in March. 

Maintenance 

Prepare for annual dues – no process changes; Mark will update roster names for latest changes 

Update on unpaid dues? All unpaid amounts will be added to the 2021 invoice 

All dead trees and limbs removed? 

Replace trees on west side of Woodbine entrance? Don R & Jeff will contact the city on tree options 

Approved 2 Weaver Backyard pool and landscaping 

Pumps will have preventative maintenance performed locally as we’ve done in the past 

Financials 

Reviewed Budget and expenses – final 2020 income & expense reviewed, 2021 YTD expenses, and proposed 2021 budget (to be finalized at March meeting) 

Current position - status 

Next meeting is Annual Meeting on March 10th
